Can you use Nokta Makro's Simplex to find gold?

Metal detecting is quite a fun hobby for people of all ages; however, many take this seriously, and many have even made valuable finds to change their lives. The physical benefits of metal detecting are many; after all, you would be walking miles before finding something worthwhile.

Metal detecting can find relics, coins, old artifacts, weapons, and sometimes even gold.  Nokta Makro is one of the leading manufacturers of metal detectors for all purposes and budgets, and one of the most popular offerings today is the Simplex.

Simplex + from Nokta Makro is one of their best offerings today in the entry-level segment. However, this is not to say that it does not fulfill the needs of advanced and experienced detectorists.

The Nokta Makro Simplex has been appreciated for submersible, subsea operation, and excellent price range.  In 201, Nokta acquired Makro Detectors, and hence a new force in the world of metal detecting was born.

With the merger of the two metal detector companies, Nokta Macro Detectors have been producing models in different price categories for every buyer to meet their demand for quality technology, high efficiency, and ergonomics in their products. Simplex + brings all of this to the brand at an incredibly low price.

Simplex from Nokta Makro has four search modes: the All metals search mode, field mode, park, and beach modes. All metal modes provide the same tone for all metals without discriminating, and you will rely on the target identification scale to determine what type of metal has been detected.

Field mode is designed for relic hunting and provides a low tone for ferrous objects and a high tone for non-ferrous targets. While the park mode is what you will use for coin hunting as it offers three tones for low, medium, and nonferrous metals and gold and more for highly conductive targets like copper and silver.

The Beach mode is the additional search mode for Simplex + and allows a ground balance between the range of zero to ninety-nine. This helps balance the soil with high amounts of minerals like wet sand and saltwater on the beach. Three remaining modes have automatic balance from twenty to ninety-nine.

So to answer the question, whether Simplex can be used to find gold, it is ideal for shallow water, beach, gold, jewelry, the coin remains, relics, etc.  Using the All Metal mode will give you signals for any metal, concluding gold.

By learning to listen and read VDI, you will understand if you have detected gold or trash. It will take some practice and patience. So, Nokta Makro Simplex will find gold for you.

However, for better results, you have the option to replace the original coil with new Nokta Macro coils. The SP24 9.5 X 5 DD waterproof search coil is highly suggested for detecting gold.
